Hi IreneYAL,

Congrats on getting this far already! Can totally understand the excitement :) 20 eggs sounds good! Yes, I believe that it's quite normal that some of the eggs are empty...but since you have a lot, don't worry too much about it! They always say you only need ONE healthy egg for a succesful pregnancy anyway :) All the best and think happy thoughts!

Hey IreneYAL!

Ah I remember my doctor actually recommended that I eat up to 4 egg whites a day, a few days before OPU. This will supposedly be healthier for the eggs or something.

After OPU, I was also worried about having OHSS, but I read that drinking more water will help. I had bloating for a few days after that, but it was bearable :)

I also had PCOS by the way! My doc said since I had so many eggs, he recommended that I do frozen transfer instead of the immediate one, so as not to get any complications. Chances of success are better too :)

All the best!

Hi IreneYAL

You lucky to have 20 eggs. Its true that not all will have egg inside. Doctor also told me before my opu,... may be not to let me have a too high an expectation

I also had OHSS during my 1st ivf. Mine was uncomfortable and I gain 3kg. And it went off after 2 weeks. Not to worry if you ever have OHSS because it will disappear after 2 weeks.

Wish u all the best to U :)

Hi IreneYal,

I had mild pcos and my ohhs was not severe. I was told that if it was severe then i ll would require hospital stay. Luckily it went off after 2 wk. Had fresh et.

I took lots of beans and nut. Not much eggs white in particular. I guess both r good protein :P

U stay relax and take care.

Hi Hui112,

How r u doing? babe heart should be seen? :)

Hi appletan,

I'm now almost 10 weeks according to scan. I don't know how to count the date.. If start count from opu date, I only 8 weeks. But my gynae here according to scanning, last week already 8!week 4 days... Something like this... So, I'm very confusing.

Last 2 weeks, I'm bleeding. So, I bed rest for 1 week. Now, should b ok already. Stil continue with crinone, injection & medicine.

At the beginning, I really have bad constipation. Now is ok de, but still try to eat more fruits & yogurt. Dr Tee is very nice, when I bleeding or do scanning all will whatsapp him, he will explained to me one by one. Even I not go back do checking with him, he stil willing to explain for me.

So, how r u thr? Everything fine?

Hi hui112,

Your babe is growing fast. Good. That mean your babe is growing well. :)

I was told to count from opu date = 2 weeks. My scan also not exactly the same. Sometimes 10 days bigger. And babe is fine. So cute. ..... Best is to ask your doctor.

I feel the same too about Dr Tee. He is very helpful. But I dont understand u.....u did ivf with Dr Tee and didn't go back to see him. Which doctor are u seeing?

;)

Hello ladies, congratulations to all mommies that are conceived with their bundle of joys! I have been so busy taking care of the girls, only notice that my last login to this forum was in June. Just a quick recap on my journey. I am diagnosed with PCOS. I did my one and only full cycle of injection back in 2011 with Dr Wong, Sunfert fertility center!

Fresh cycle- failed

First FET- singleton (conceived 2011)

Second FET- twins (conceived 2014)

IreneYAL- forget about symptoms. Sit back and relax, bundle of joys on the way. Many baby dusts to u!

Kancil- really wish to advise you... But what is Amh?

To mommies that are trying to conceive- NEVER GIVE UP! many baby dusts to all of u! God bless u!

Hi appletan

What kind of beans and nuts you took after opu? Dr Colin advised not to take soya bean.

Any other particular food to take to boost success?

Hi kancil,

Amh.....you mean antimullerian hormone? I heard its used to measure egg reserve. My doctor din do this test for me. Sorry I cant advise.

Hi IreneYAL,

You cant be feeling it so fast. I felt appetite change after 2 weeks. So, relax and take your medicine well. And drink plenty of water. Wish u the best. :)

Hi mrsliem,

For my 1st cycle I took a lot of macadamia nut.

For 2nd cycle...I took mostly peanuts and hope to be different..... haha, but ... both were also boys. Equally cute.

All the best to u. :D

Hi everyone...I wish everyone all the best.As for me I am entering week 16.My morning sickness in first trimester was terrible. In fact I lost some weight due to not eating and vomitting.Thank God things are getting better after I enter second trimester. My baby and me are doing well.Doc said most probably I am having a girl. She will be my little precious miracle. It has been quiet a journey of ttc for me and finally conceived after 3 fresh cycle and 2 frozen cycle. What i have learnt from this journey is never ever ever give up hope after any unsuccesfull attempts.Your time will definitely come.To those who are pregnant already..take care and may you have a smooth 9 months pregnancy.cheers everyone...

Hi,

JosephineF and Appletan,

Yes. amh is antimullerian hormone.

I had endometriosis 9 years ago and had laparoscopy to remove my endometriosis. That's when my ovary reserve became low. I had 3x Ivf ,,,sad..all BFN. I m tired and spent more than 60k++.

Now, my latest doctor tested my amh = 4. He told me that below 6 means low ovary reserve.

I feel I m not alone after hearing your experience, Waitingformiracle and Hui112.

Thank u

Hi everyone,

A happy Friday to all! Just wanted to share that I'm entering my week 25 soon with twins...

Managed to register at Klinik Kesihatan and got my pink book, and asked the doctor to refer me to PPUM (Universiti Hospital). However, I just went to to UM to register and they told me they don't take IVF cases from outside, and especially not when it's twins because they have limited ventilator facilities. Told me to go to Sungai Buloh Hospital instead. Just wanted to share so anyone who's planning to register (in case of emergency) at the govt hospital...do check with them first ya so you won't have to do double work :)

Hopefully I will get to register at Sungai Buloh hospital soon then I won't have to worry...

VirgoGal, doing well?

:)

Hi ladies,

Thank u for all the good sharing.

I have been ttc for 5 years. My hubby and I have finally decided to do ivf at Metro. Has anyone had experience with Dr Mohan at Setiawalik Puchong? Can u share? I was told he is the latest fertility specialist of Metro Ivf.
