Bacteria Streptococcus, group b

Hi,

I'm now in 29 weeks, my check up report shows i have positive streptococcus Group B, can anyone explain for me what is that?
Heard that will affect infant, anyone help me?

Ya it is a common thing that women have off and on "down there." If you have it right before/during delivery then they give you antibiotics as a preventative measure, just to ensure baby doesn't get any kind of infection. It's a better safe than sorry kind of thing.
