1kg crab

100g olive oil

20g garlic, minced

900ml chicken stock

200g chilli sauce

100g tomato ketchup

1 tsp salt

3 tsp sugar

30g vinegar

50g chilli oil

10g potato flour

3 fresh eggs, beaten


1. Clean and chop the crab into pieces.

2. Heat up a wok until it’s hot, add olive oil and put in the minced garlic.

3. Pour in the chicken stock, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, salt, sugar, vinegar and chilli oil. Stir for a few minutes.

4. Add in the crab pieces, cover the wok and let it cook for 15 minutes.

5. Mix the potato flour with water and pour it into the wok. Lastly, add in the eggs and let it cook for a few minutes.

6. Stir the crab till cooked.

7. Garnish and serve piping hot with mantou buns.

Garnish: SERVES: 2-3

Parsley, to taste: 30 minutes
