cutiepiggie : Normally i think 3 trial for ladies above 30 for those in 20s 6 trial.

mrstan : The pregnancy test can check as early as 1 week. But to be on safe side, dun test too early

I'm on 2nd cycle of clomid- today Dr give me injection. So just work hard for these few days and hope for babies.

The doctor also prescribed me 3rd cycle clomid (just in case fail) this round.

Hi all, new to this forum and very much hoping to start a family. I'm in my mid-30s, this will be my first time trying for one and I am worried about my fertility. I'm just wondering if anyone can advice about when to start fertility treatments if our attempts at au naturel method doesn't work?

you shd at least try for a yr. if time is a concern, try at least for 6 mths. dun stress yrself too much on whether u r able to conceive or not. if not sucessful, see a good gynae, juz tell him/her dat u r not able to conceive after a certain yr/mths of trying. your gynae will know wat to do next.

i waited 6 yrs. after a yr of trying, i went to see a gynae, done all the necessary tests, tried clomid as well but still didn't conceive. give up on having a bb 2 yrs back & guess wat? i conceived after a yr! my bb girl is now 1 mth old. anything can happen, dun give up.

I've done 3 cycle of clomid ( the lst cycle was 3 tablets) Doctor say my body does not response well to clomid.
She say she is goin to check on my hubby's sperm. While me.. i'm not sure what she is goin to do. I will ask her on next visit

Hi All

I've been taking clomid since last year for 3 cycles, then doc advise to do laparoscpy but hubby wants 2nd opinion. So stop clomid, and search for another gynae, Dr Jeremy. He advised me to do HSG test to check on tube and hubby check on sperm which both of us did. Hubby test result good. my fallopian Tube is good, not blocked but says that I hv billateral adhesion meaning, at the end of tube, it is hard for tube to catch the eggs. So, dr Jeremy prescrbe/start me with clomid again. But just had my period yestreay so, failed again. Taking clomid has make my period so accuarate.. with 32 days but i had heavy PMS on 1st & 2nd day which something new to me..

I think i'm giving up already coz not pregnant yet and dr jeremy past away makes me so depress coz I finally found a good gynae after so many search and now, i've to find again and tell my history to the new gynae...sigh.. so tired of this.. I really don know wat to do whether to stop searhcing for a gyane or continue clomid or just do it naturally.. so sien.. i'm in the tip of giving up not having bb...

Want to share my experience with Clomid. I have having 'polycystic ovary'. Due to hormone problem, my ovum hard to release from ovary.. saw lots of die leftover ovum in my ovary when during scaning kinda scarry.

I am seeing Dr. Wong from Damanasara Women's Specialist. Agreed with Chrissy, hai.. everytime visit got to wait at least 2hrs.. bt since my collegue recomend, then i jt go - (Dr. Wong help him successful get a nice n pretty bb after 6years of marriage life!)

hmm.. Dr. Wong dignose me having polycystic ovary, advice me to take Clomid. 1st dosage is 1 in morning and 1 at night. Subseqeuntly... scaning done on day 16, ovum is <10mm. It was dissapointed that doc said dosage not enuf due to my hormone differentiate too much... foresee no ovulation on April08...He ask me to go take pill to let period come if wait till end of May still no period

I called my mum n told her, my mum ask me to take 3'pak fong yun' in alternate day. So I 'guai guai' listen to her since the medical fee also super exp (They charge RM5 / Clomid!) terrible.. hmm... End of May, I felt vomiting n nausea.. I use test kit to test.. opssy.. positive result.. so worry and nervous. My hb also hard to believe.. ask me to go buy 2nd and test. Still the same result.. That night I totally can't sleep.. partly becoz of work n partly becoz of this bb.. Din expect at all!

Went to chk up wt Dr. Wong 2nd day... already 6wks..

So gals, if u have problem like me, hard to release ovum, jt try 3x'pai fong yun'. I used 'yu yang shang' brand.

just a bit of encouragement here I was on clomid and I responded well, was on it for 3 cycles, but still no success. Apparently, it was my husband's sperm which had good count and everything, but shape was a bit off...

Anywayz, we moved on to iui, and were successful on 2nd round...

I'd recommend KL Fertility Centre, Dr Prashant. 1st IUI was at Damansara Fertility under Dr Wong, and he's good, only there are SO many people there that it stresses you out waiting (I work, and waiting an average of 2 hours at the clinic BEFORE somebody sees me plays havoc with my schedule) so I changed to Dr Prashant. I think it's worth it to pay a bit more sometimes...

Just a note that with each cycle on clomid, you tend to respond less, and if you are responding, well, something else may be the problem. Also, taking more clomid apprently increases the cancer risk...

I'm considering Dr. Prashant. Been seing other gynaes with clomid but so far no luck.
Can you relate your experience with IUI please? Did you have to go through any jabs? And lastly, how much did it cost?

hi aishiteru, take 1 every alternate day.. yup.. for 3x. Tat means take it on "Monday, Wednesday, Friday". i took it on after day 16, after Dr. scan n said the ovum small n hardly hv ovulation.. u try n c.
