subsiding OHSS

We just completed our 1st IVF about a week ago. We flew all the way from East M'sia to TMC, treated under Dr Colin Lee. We only had 2 embryo transfer due to poor sperm quality, 1 frozen.
After ET, I had mild OHSS. It subsided significantly by the 6th day after ET & now, other than a slightly bulging tummy & lower abdomen cramps, I feel like a normal person. No significant pregnancy signs. I searched through the internet & found that subsiding OHSS likely means no pregnancy.
Anyone out here with subsiding OHSS but still get at BFP? I am so worried.

I took my beta hcG test (14 days after ET) yesterday and it is a BFP for me.... however, hcG reading is on the lower side of the spectrum. 42. Sigh.... Low hcG could mean non viable pregnancy.
Just as I thought once BFP then we can start a new rosy chapter, there are more barriers to overcome. At the sametime I am having light brown spotting. Dr increase my cyclogest dosage.
I just hope my little baby / babies will grow healthily.

Sad news. My hCG has dropped to 11.5 after 5 days. TMC said it is a miscarriage. They ordered me to stop cyclogest. Few days later my period came. I had a very painful contraction for several hours, then I passed out the biggest blood clots in my life. After that no more pain.
Doc said due to my husband condition, we are not advised to go for second cycle. It is the end of the road for us.
This IVF cycle has wounded us physically, emotionally & financially. The daily self injection is still tolerable, the hot flushes, the tiredness is nothing to me. The medical fees paid to the hospital out of our hard work & sweat is a bit difficult to swallow. The time & money spend on flying & travelling can be ignored. However, the most excruciating part is when we know that we may never be able to have our own biological children.
This is life, we just have to accept it. When we can lift up our heads & gaze into the morning sun & smile again, then we know we are ready to adopt.

Thanks for your kind words Fred. The hardest part of the journey is loneliness. Not many people can trully understand the grief & challenges faced by infertile couples. Most ot the time my husband & I just cry in silent.

Thank you. i just started yoga class and cross training, i hope this can help my body the conceive on the next IVF cycle.
my condition are not so courage due to my husband sperm's quality. doctor advise us to consider donor sperm otherwise the success rate is only about 38 percent. i will try one more time, and not give up.
maybe u can try one more cycle? all the best!!

wbaby,
Our diagnosis is almost similar. Doc attribute my pregnancy loss due to poor sperm quality. He also suggest donor sperm if we want to start a fresh cycle. Although hubby is half opened to it but I am not. I only want to have baby with someone I commit my life to. Maybe u can ask your hubby to take supplement to make the sperm more healthy?
Do u have any frozen embryo from previous cycle? We have one but doc said it is an abnormal embryo & ask us not to put too much hope in it. Due to low financial, emotion & physical reserve, we can only start to pursue the viability of our frozen embryo next year. Perhaps our last attempt in any ARTs.

i have same feeling with u, i cry when the doctor told me we have to use donor sperm. although my husband said he can accept it. We don't have any frozen embryo , doctor transfer 4 embryo since there is only 4 embryo out of 13 ovum that he pick up .
we might use 50% of donor sperm on the next ivf cycle, i would start in month of OCt. wish me good luck
